10th September 2023

In support of 1st Moreton and Fyfield Scout Group

This event raises valuable funds to support scouting in our local area, providing life-changing opportunities to our Young-People.
Scouting provides amazing opportunities to learn skills for life and we can't do this without the support of the community. We have leaders from all walks of life, giving up their time to support Young People from 6 to 18 years old.
The Scout Group holds weekly meetings for all sections and holds camps over the summer holiday for Scouts and Explorers with destinations across the UK.
The group is also internationally facing with our Young People representing the UK at Scouting Events around the World, recently in North America, and Australia, next year in Korea, North America and Jersey.
Funds raised by events like this allow us to do these things as well as just provide day to day activities.
If you are interested in sending your child to join any of our sections, or would be interested in volunteering any amount of time to support us please reach out to info@fyfield5k.com

Trees for tees

Following last years success, we have decided to localise the option to plant a tree instead of getting a tee-shirt, the Scouts will plant the trees in the landscape you are running through.  We have partnered with two f the landowners who's farms we are privileged to run across and will plant in gaps in  existing  woodland, hedges and new copses.  Each tee-shirt is responsible for about 5kg of carbon emissions, and a huge amount of water use. If you do not feel that you want your souvenir t-shirt you can opt to plant a tree instead, and if you want a t-shirt and a tree you can pay £6 at the registration stage.

Where to find us
